After several days of searching, the Silver Alert for Robert Mundine was canceled Saturday after his body was found.

Mundine, 86, had gone missing from his apartment on Aug. 30 around 2 p.m., wearing a grey shirt and black pajama pants. He had dementia and heart conditions.

On Saturday, a search-and-rescue team found Mundine dead in an isolated and wooded area at about 10 a.m. near the 2100 block of East Omaha Street in Broken Arrow. The department did not say if any foul play was suspected, and the case remains under investigation.
