Man killed by apparent collision with train near Coweta

An unidentified man was killed Thursday night after an apparent collision with a train, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the Union Pacific railroad tracks near OK-51B and 171st Street S., 5 miles south of Coweta.
The victim, an unidentified white male of unknown age, was pronounced dead at the scene by Coweta Fire Department and EMS. He was transported to the Wagoner County Medical Examiner’s Office.
