Broken Arrow police say mail larceny complaints rising

The Broken Arrow Police Department says it's seeing an increase in larceny of mail calls this year. Officers have responded to more than 84 larceny of mail calls since January.

More than 12 of those calls have taken place at the post office at Kilby Drive and East Kenosha St.

Unfortunately, thieves are removing personal checks from the envelopes, washing them, and then cashing them for different amounts.
