A GoFundMe account has been set up for a teenager who was found dead in Broken Arrow early Tuesday.

Although police have not officially released the name of the victim, the fundraiser page identified him as 16-year-old Dacari Green.

“Early (Tuesday) morning immeasurable sadness filled the Green home in Broken Arrow as they learned 16-year-old Dacari Green would not be returning,” said the organizer, Angie McCool Lively.

“Dacari’s mom, Ebony, heard the news that her son was murdered in front of their home sometime between late (Monday) night and the early morning hours.

“No mother fathoms hearing this unbearable news.”

Broken Arrow police said they were called to the 1400 block of West Trenton Avenue, near Aspen Avenue and 51st Street, early Tuesday for a male laying unresponsive in the street. Detectives are still pursuing leads and actively investigating the case.

Anyone with information that could help investigators with this crime should call (918)-259-8400. Those wanting to remain anonymous can call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
