One person was killed Tuesday night in a 3-car accident on the north side of Broken Arrow, police said.

At about 9:30 p.m. the Broken Arrow Police Department’s Traffic Specialist Unit was called to the scene on 9th Street just a south of East Albany Street.

Police said a pickup truck that was speeding crashed into an SUV at the intersection. The force of the impact pushed the vehicles about 100 yards into a minivan.

Traffic on 9th Street was shut down for several hours while the Traffic Specialist Unit investigated the crash.

The collision remains under investigation. Updates will be provided once they’re available from BAPD.
