An arrest has been made after a 3-vehicle crash in Broken Arrow Tuesday night that killed two people.

The Broken Arrow Police Department said 33-year-old Patrick Ferm of Claremore was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram south on Lynn Lane Road around 9:30 p.m. when it struck a 2015 Ford Escape at the intersection with Albany Street. A third vehicle was subsequently struck following the collision.

The driver and the passenger in the Ford Escape were pronounced deceased. They were identified as 75-year-old Marji Cowles and 80-year-old Gloria Voss, both of Broken Arrow. The single occupant in the third vehicle was not injured.

Following the accident, Ferm was arrested on suspicion of DUI and charges are still pending, said BAPD Public Information Officer Ethan Hutchins. The accident remains under investigation.
