Second arrest made in Broken Arrow homicide

The Broken Arrow Police Department has arrested a second suspect in the murder of 16-year-old Dacari Green on Jan. 24 on the city's north side. 

Ja'Cori Whitmore, 15, faces a charge of first-degree murder and is being charged as an adult. Last week, Ky'Leigh Shaw was the first suspect arrested in the incident, which happened in the 1400 block of W. Trenton St. 

Shaw, also 15 has been charged with first-degree murder as well in Green's death and is being charged as an adult. 

BAPD said the U.S. Marshals Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task force assisted with both the apprehensions. Police said the the investigation is still ongoing.
