The Broken Arrow Police Department (BAPD) arrested a man Wednesday for stalking members of several churches in Broken Arrow and Tulsa.
Police arrested 27-year-old Jesse Paine for felony stalking after an investigation into his behavior that began in 2022, said BAPD Public Information Officer Ethan Hutchins.
Police received complaints that Paine would show up at homes of church staff after church hours, and the behavior would take place once churches would ask him to leave their buildings.
On one occasion, Paine was spotted staring through a front window of a residence before walking away after being noticed by a homeowner, police said. Paine also was witnessed making vague threats to church staff after being trespassed.
