The Broken Arrow Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man Sunday after a road rage incident and shooting.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Knoxville Street, just south of Houston Street between South Aspen Avenue and Elm Place. Police arrived to find an adult male with a gunshot wound in the shoulder.
Investigation showed the victim pulled out of his driveway on his motorcycle, close to another vehicle that was driving down the road, police said.
A short time later, that vehicle pulled up next to the victim down the road in the neighborhood.
The driver, later identified as Parker Day, fired multiple shots at the victim. One of the rounds struck the victim, exited, and then lodged in his helmet.
Officers responded to Day's address and arrested him.
Following his arrest, jail staff located baggies on his person containing possible Fentanyl and Xanax.
Day faces federal charges of shooting with Intent to kill, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
