4.0 earthquake in central Oklahoma felt in Broken Arrow

The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake overnight Thursday measuring 4.0 that was felt in Broken Arrow and beyond.

Witnesses on social media said the quake caused shaking beds, barking dogs and the like. One person got up with a gun and checked their house. The start time on the quake was 3:57 a.m.

USGS said the quake was centered near Carney and located about 3.5 miles underground.
