A Broken Arrow man named in a felony warrant was arrested Thursday by authorities after refusing to come out of his home.

The Tulsa Police Department said Edward Rayls had a warrant for sexual abuse of an adult by a caretaker.

When TPD’s Fugitive Unit arrived at his home he refused to exit, police said. Broken Arrow police assisted by entering the home to apprehend Rayls, who was hiding inside.

In addition to the assault charge, Rayls faces a charge of obstruction of justice, according to Tulsa County court records.
