Broken Arrow resident Bridget Goodacre had added a new award to her growing list of professional accomplishments by being named the state’s 2022 Project Manager of the Year by the Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma.

Described by colleagues and clients as a consummate professional, Goodacre is an honor graduate of Union High School and Oklahoma State University. She joined Tulsa-based Cowen Construction in 2017 after having worked in the construction industry for 13 years. Her resume includes overseeing various types of projects, including medical, office space, banking, shopping centers, and multi-family.

Her most visible undertaking to date is Brio at the Rose, a four-story mixed-use complex at 305 N. Main St. in her hometown. With a construction price in excess of $20 million it is the largest single development in the district’s history.

Brio, which city officials say is playing a key role in expanding the scope of the community’s award-winning Rose District, has 31,000 square feet of commercial space and 96 luxury apartments. Added features include a 24-hour fitness center, business center and community lounge. Businesses located there include Toast Restaurant, Revitalize Medical Spa, 918 Nail Lounge, Bank of Oklahoma and Ippin Ramen Sushi & Izakaya.

AGC of Oklahoma is a professional trade organization that represents general contractors, subcontractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, service providers, education affiliates and other industry related professional organizations. Its members perform more than 80% of all commercial and industrial construction work in the state.
