A few students at Vanguard Academy are creating a 3D prosthetic leg for Kane, a three-legged pup who lost his leg from a coyote attack.

Kane’s owner, who adopted him through Barc Rescue Oklahoma, recently brought Kane to the school to get a cast of his torso. The students then used that cast as their model to do a 3D scan into a CAD program.

They built a prototype of the cage that will go around Kane's torso, and on Wednesday Kane was fitted with the cage that will eventually house the leg.
