The Broken Arrow Police Department confirmed that 2 people were found deceased Wednesday on the city's south side.
Annette Hammock, 48, and her 17-year-old son were found by police inside a home in the 2500 block of West Honolulu Street.
A third individual, 50-year-old Phillip Hammock, is being treated for what's believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, after he was found in the home with the other two victims. He has been placed in custody and is listed in critical condition.
Police said they responded to the home around 11 a.m. for a welfare check requested by a family member.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations is assisting the investigation due to a tribal component involved.
