A Tulsa man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after his airplane crashed near Bristow, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Clinton Brian, 50, was taken by Creek County EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in admitted in stable collision with trunk internal injuries, OHP said. The accident occurred at 4:35 p.m. near 39398 W 251st St., 2.5 miles south of Bristow. Troopers said Brian was operating a 1948 fixed wing TEMCO.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident, OHP said. No other details about the cause of the crash were available Saturday.
The Bristow Police Department, Bristow Fire Department, Creek County Sheriffs Office and Creek County EMS assisted at the scene.
