A woman from Broken Arrow was injured Monday during a crash on U.S. 75 just south of Glenpool.

The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a Volvo semi was sitting on the side on the highway due to a crash ahead when it was struck from behind by Kayla D. Cooper.

Copper was taken by Life-Flight to Saint Francis Hospital and admitted in stable condition with head and leg injuries.

The driver of the semi, 63-year-old Gary D. Ketchum of Tulsa, was transported by Glenpool EMS to Saint Francis Hospital and admitted in stable condition with a head injury.

OHP said Cooper didn’t notice traffic was stopped and inattentive driving was the accident cause.
