Broken Arrow Public Schools Supt. Chuck Perry

The Broken Arrow Board of Education approved a bonus payment Monday to Broken Arrow Public Schools Supt. Chuck Perry after a brief closed-door meeting.
The amendment to Perry’s contact awards him with a bonus payment of 5% of his base salary of $204,011 for the 2023-24 fiscal year. That totals about $10,200 and does not include compensation and benefits.
The bonus amendment was originally discussed by the school board in early May in a closed session but the matter was not finalized until Monday’s vote.
In March, school board members voted 4-0 to extend Perry’s contract for another 3 years.
Perry was promoted to superintendent of BAPS in late 2021 after Janet Vinson opted to retire
