A Barnsdall man was killed early Wednesday in Tulsa County after his car left the roadway and struck a pole, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Bennie Bruce Conley, 70, was pronounced dead after the 7:36 p.m. crash that occurred on North Cincinnati Avenue and East 123rd St in Tulsa.
Conley was driving a 2004 BMW 325 northbound when the car departed the roadway to the left and struck a pole.
He was taken to Ascension St. John Medical Center with head, leg, arm, trunk internal and trunk external injuries but was pronounced dead by EMS and hospital staff. Conley was wearing a seatbelt.
OHP said the cause of the accident and condition of the driver were unknown
