The Broken Arrow Police Department announced the arrest of a man after investigating an alleged kidnapping incident Monday.
BAPD Public Information Officer Ethan Hutchins said police investigated a reported kidnapping and domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in the 5300 block of South Hickory Avenue.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, 40-year-old Michael Hoss, held the victim captive for approximately 17 hours and physically restrained the victim from leaving the house.
The victim was eventually able to escape and contacted police. Detectives were able to secure a search warrant for the residence and felony arrest warrant. On Wednesday the Broken Arrow Special Operations Team served the warrants and the suspect was taken into custody.
Hoss is being held on a $75,000 bond.
