The Tulsa Police Department is still investigating an incident Sunday morning outside of a Hookah Lounge where 1 man was killed and more than 140 shots were fired.

Around 2:30 a.m. officers were called to Admiral Boulevard and Lewis Avenue “in reference to many gunshots fired in the area.”

Officers said they arrived and found a male down on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

More than 100 shell casings of various calibers were found in the parking lot, indicating a large gun battle had taken place. It appears the shooting started in the parking lot and traveled west down 1st Street.

Detectives are still actively looking for information about a suspect(s). Anyone with information is asked to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. You can remain anonymous when calling.

The victim's identity will be released pending notification of family.
