The City of Broken Arrow will host a public meeting for the community to discuss the latest developments of the Public Transit Study.

The purpose of the study is to provide a long-term strategy for improving public transportation in the city and around the region.

The community meeting will be held to share transportation scenarios the project team has developed. The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 2 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the Central on Main Ballroom, 210 N. Main St. Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

This is the second of two public meetings the City of Broken Arrow is hosting regarding the study that is guided by the Public Transit Study Advisory Committee, the consulting firm of Kimley-Horn, and input from Broken Arrow residents.

“The feedback we received at the first community meeting and from a public survey that was sent out earlier this year has been critical to the development of the plan to enhance public transportation in Broken Arrow,” said City of Broken Arrow Community Development Director Larry Curtis. “I’m excited to discuss the scenarios the team has cultivated and explore the potential for greater connectivity opportunities to better serve the citizens of BA.”

The Public Transit Study is expected to be completed this summer and will be presented to City Council at a future meeting. More details about the study can be found on our website at www.BrokenArrowTransitPlan.com.
