Top 10 Broken Arrow Stories for May 2022

A story detailing a daughter’s remembrance of her mother after she was murder in her home in Broken Arrow last year was the top story appearing in the Broken Arrow Sentinel in May.

Linda Jeffcoat Butler, who was retired, was shot to death in November. Broken Arrow police are still actively working the case.

A report that detailing the scale of abuse and indoctrination in federal Indian board schools, and a proposal for an inflatable splash park that was OK’d by the Broken Arrow City Council also topped the list in May.
