The Broken Arrow Police Department is holding a large party at Camino Villa Park this Saturday, June 18th from noon to 4 p.m. and the department is inviting the Tulsa-area community to attend.
Camino Villa is a mobile home community located just East of Kenosha Street and County Line Road (71st and 193rd). This neighborhood has been a focus of community outreach in recent months following an uptick in violent crime and calls for service within the neighborhood.
In April, Broken Arrow police and the city of Broken Arrow and area churches to hold a successful trash cleanup, which resulted in 30 tons of trash getting removed.
Through this partnership, the police department says it has made positive strides in bridging the gap between residents and police officers. The goal of this party is to bring together citizens and provide an opportunity for meaningful conversation and fellowship.
Broken Arrow police are partnering with Supermercados Morelos, Blue Bell, Sprouts Farmers Market, Quiktrip and many other sponsors to provide free food, live music, giveaways, activities and more.
The Broken Arrow Police Department, Broken Arrow Fire Department and other area law enforcement will also be in attendance. Please plan to come out and enjoy some fun in the sun while learning about public safety.
