Broken Arrow High School student honored as Academic All-Stater

Evan Kamriguel, a Broken Arrow High School student, was recently among the top 100 high school seniors in Oklahoma and honored as Academic All-Staters at the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Academic Awards Banquet.

The event was held recently in Oklahoma City.

A National Merit finalist and U.S. Presidential Scholar Nominee, Kamriguel is an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction. He received the Gold Youth Award in Engineering from the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and the Student of Today Award from the Broken Arrow Masonic Lodge in 2018 and 2019.

Kamriguel is an officer in the Advanced Placement Club and National Honor Society and served as vice president of his school’s Oklahoma Technology Student Association in 2019. He is a member of the Life.Church Capacity Leadership Group and serves as a Life Kids and Host Team volunteer and Online Group Host.

Kamriguel plans to study electrical engineering at the University of Tulsa. His scholarship sponsor is the Meshri Family.

Kamriguel, a 2022 graduate of Broken Arrow High School, was among 100 outstanding seniors from Oklahoma public schools who were honored by the foundation as Academic All-Staters.

He received an Academic All-State scholarship sponsored by The Meshri Family of Tulsa. Gupta is the artistic director of Street Symphony, a nonprofit that serves homeless and incarcerated communities in Los Angeles.
