Tulsa County in need of poll workers for Broken Arrow
The Tulsa County Election Board said there is a need for precinct officials to work Election Day at the local polls in the Broken Arrow area.
Poll worker jobs include:
Inspector: Picks up supplies and ballots and opens the polls, ensures ballots are processed correctly, returns supplies and ballots to the Election Board once on election night.
Judge: Greets voters, verifies voter identification, processes voters and communicates with the clerk to ensure correct ballots are issued.
Clerk: Issues ballots, directs voters to voting booths and devices.
Provisional voting officer: Processes voters who do not have proper identification but may be eligible to vote, ensures these voters complete provisional ballots and turns them in on election night.
