Broken Arrow man indicted on gun, drug charges

A Broken Arrow man has been indicted on gun and drug charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma said. 

Matthew Gabriel Cowan, 41, faces charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. 

Authorities said Cowan was in possession of a Sig Sauer 9 mm caliber semi-automatic pistol and 98 rounds of ammunition. The Tulsa Police Department is the investigative agency.
