City recognizes Marvin Boggs for service on his 100th birthday

The Broken Arrow City Council recently honored Marvin Boggs of Broken Arrow for his service on his 100th birthday.

Boggs served in the Navy during World War II. His family has lived in Broken Arrow since the mid -1970s. Boggs retired as manager for City Service Oil and Gas. He was active in youth sports in Broken Arrow and volunteered for the Tulsa County Election Board.

Boggs is an active member of the Broken Arrow Senior Center where he plays in the Bridge Club and is a Silver Life Master.
