Broken Arrow Creek DAR places flags at Floral Haven

The Broken Arrow Creek Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution placed American flags at Floral Haven Cemetery Tuesday to honor veterans in preparation for Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is May 29, 2023. Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) is a federal holiday for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the U.S. armed forces.

“Thank you veterans for your service, sacrifice and the sacrifice of your loved ones,” DAR said.
