Broken Arrow WWII veteran, centenarian honored by Centenarians of Oklahoma

Centenarians of Oklahoma recently honored World War II veteran Ralph Simoni of Broken Arrow at his 100th birthday celebration and inducted him into the Centenarians of Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

Ralph celebrated with parties all day long. He was born and lived in New Jersey for many years but has made Oklahoma his home for the last few years. He served in U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II with a Glider unit in the Pacific.

July 4 is Ralph's favorite holiday because it is the birthday of our country. He had these words of wisdom for us: "Eat Slow" "Be The Last To Leave The Table!" "Enjoy Your Life Because It Goes By Fast!" and "Love Each Other Always (even if we are not the same)!"
